Thick Fused glass Panels

This year I am following the art and direction of a glass artist, named Paul Messink. He is a glass artist that paints on glass and creates thick glass panels. I can in no way equal his work, but it is a interesting journey learing to paint and draw.  It is also a lesson in patience because of the steps involved and waiting for paints to dry. 

He paints on layers of glass different aspects of a scene, then fuses them into one thick panel. Each panel could consist of up to 9 sheets of glass.

This year he released a video series, that reveals and teaches his techniques.   I am learning and following his series.
